# API : how to integrate markdown (or equivalent ?)

i’m sending transactional emails via API. I send Brevo many variables, including of course some «&nbsp;content&nbsp;» to fill text boxes.

this content is originally coming from my own app, with markdown.

But Brevo text boxes do not take into account this formatting.

Do you have any recommendations ?
