# Brevo Sandbox Mode Issue

Hello, we are trying to leverage the Brevo Sandbox mode outlined here to keep emails from sending. [Using Sandbox mode to send an email](https://developers.brevo.com/docs/using-sandbox-mode-to-send-an-email)

I can confirm that we are setting the headers `"headers": {"X-Sib-Sandbox":"drop"}`, however the live emails are still being sent. Is there another factor that I am missing?

Hi @starinje , can you confirm you are passing the headers as a payload object and not actual http headers?
