# What does 'loaded by proxy' mean in transactional logs?

Hi @appcrazee ,
This is related to Apple Mail Privacy Policy. As we are not always able to know if the email was opened or not for Apple users (depends on their settings), « Loaded by proxy » means the email was received by your contact, and maybe opened.
