Can't find email template I created

Hi, I created an email automation (see image). The email is called « Welcome Survey ».

I want to create a segment based on which link readers click in « Welcome Survey ». But I just can’t find the email with this name when i try to create a segment.

The email is also not in my email templates. where can I find it??

Also, why is the email also labelled « #5 »?? So many confusing things in Brevo.

Hello,

After checking, it seems that emails created from the Automation editor are not found in the list of templates.
If you want to find it, you’ll have to create your template from the templates section of your Brevo space, then retrieve it from your automation. The reverse does not appear to be possible.

The “#5” label corresponds to the mail’s unique identifier in Brevo’s system, enabling you to identify it precisely, particularly from the filters.

As far as I’m concerned, I can find my email, whether it was created from templates or from Automation.
It bears the name visible in the Design section of the « Send an email » step in my Automation, i.e. “Welcome Survey - #5” in your case.

To create your segment, you need to select in your filters:

  • Link clicked in an email
  • Email type: Transactional email (emails sent by Automation are transactional)
  • Email name - is precisely: “Welcome Survey - #5”.
  • Link URL: Select the link on which the customer must have clicked.

I don’t know if you’ve done these steps before?
As my interface is in French, the texts may not be exactly the same, but you should be able to find them in your interface.

I hope this helps.
