Segments Query - Simple way to add contacts one by one

I read the documentation on Lists V Segments. I just wanted to add individual contacts to a segment called Customers. I cant see an easy way to do that as its looking to add them via a filter/rule. Maybe I am missing something simple …

Any tips?

Indeed, segments are based on filters and rules: you can’t add one given contact to a segment.
If you want to have contacts both from a given segment and manually chosen, you should use lists, absolutely.
