Double opt-in subscription form

Does anyone know if it’s true - as ChatGPT claims - that double opt-in does not work with the free version of BREVO in a subscription form on a worpress website?

Double opt-in forms work with any Brevo plan, including our free plan.

I already set up the sign-up form along the lines of what’s in the help article and had embedded the code in our website. But I wonder if the problem is due to the confirmation email in the default confirmation form being different from the one in our BREVO account? When I tried to change it to be the same it said I needed to authenticate our domain… I’ve asked our domain manager to resolve this now. But please let me know if in theory it should be possible to have the 2 different emails.

In any case, I think you should definitely authenticate your domain first and see if it resolves your issue. If it doesn’t, I think reaching out to our support team is the best way to resolve the issue since they can check your Brevo account directly :slight_smile:

Thanks Deborah. We’re still having the problem on our site but it’s working on another Wordpress site so I guess it’s something on our end.
