Unauthorized emails being sent

have had a website on wordpress for quite some time now but I recently added forms linked to my newsletter and got a lot of spam. Since then I added captcha and even removed from from my website but

I’ve been facing a persistent issue with my WordPress site sending unauthorized emails through my Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) account.

Despite taking several security measures—including disabling new user registrations, implementing CAPTCHA on all forms, installing security plugins, and regularly scanning for malware—the problem continues. I’m seeking advice on additional steps I can take to stop these unauthorized emails and secure my site effectively. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Can you explain what you mean by « unauthorized emails » please?

And just in case it could be linked, have you implemented a double opt-in process for your forms? This way, only genuine subscribers who confirm their subscription will be added to your list, which helps prevent unwanted submissions.
