Brevo Editor is Very Slow - Locks Up

same issue as well. i’m on firefox.

Same issue here. Massively frustrating. It’s been this way for at least a month. Will have to switch to another solution if this is not solved soon. I’m on Firefox on a Mac. (But it does the same on Safari.)

I did stop using my VPN and it seems to be much better since. i cross my fingers

  5. Lower the image size: Large images can slow down the editor. Try compressing images before uploading them to reduce load times.
  6. Switch to a simple text editor: If the visual editor is causing too much trouble, consider switching to the plain HTML editor (if available) for faster responsiveness and manual edits.
  7. System performance check: Make sure your laptop isn’t being slowed down by other background processes, even though you’ve closed apps. Open Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac) to check for resource-heavy programs.

  6. I could actually create the email newsletter myself if I used a HTML editor - I’m using Brevo because of its graphic capabilities
  7. the only thing that runs slow is Brevo - no other app, or web page runs slow at the same time - just Brevo.
    It was fine when I first started using Brevo a while ago now, but for the past few months its been terrible. It seems to bhe an on-going issue (That quite a few people are experiencing).

Same problem here.

Have fast internet, used Windows and MacOS with Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
Images are 3 jpgs with less than 50kb in size.
And also just the Brevo Tabs are slow (even creating a new list or contact) everything else in the same Browser works just fine. (already testet without any additional tabs opened and with all extensions deactivated)

Same here crazy slow !!

It does not look like the problem has ever been raised to a high priority level… It is nearly impossible to edit a long newsletter. At a certain point when you add content every button of the editor takes around 10-20 seconds to respond. And then you end up also getting the popup I attach.

Same issue. I started using Brevo yesterday. Everything was going well at first, but as soon as my newsletter started to grow, everything started to get SO slow. It’s a nightmare! Should be the first and last time I use this app if you do not resolve that problem quickly

This is also very slow for us and we want to send our Black Friday campaign ASAP. I’ve been using Brevo for months and the issue persists.

Tbh I’m considering changing if this doesn’t work by end of this month…

Brevo is very responsive for me and a few minutes later it is slow to the point where it is unusable. Tried on Edge and Chrome. Very disappointing as i’m just about to onboard a client and this may change my mind.

I did a search on « brevo very slow » for this very reason, came across this thread, joined this forum to add my experience.

I am evaluating options and whilst Brevo includes the capabilities at the price point I seek (albeit its Logo removal fee still a contentious point in my head), the editor makes Brevo a no go for me. It’s PAINFUL SLOW and I know that this would be frustratingly unusable.

My trial with Brevo and editing a campaign is purely using its own templates and images that Brevo automatically inserts so I’m not doing anything fancy. Just increasing padding using the + and nothing seems to move, for a long while.

I have been using Stripo (with MailChimp) for a long time. The Stripo editor looks and feels very similar to Brevo, but absolutely no speed issues.

I use Brave Browser.

I like Brevo, hope this gets fixed. I’m in no rush to select a new solution as I’m starting a new business, hence eager to see if Brevo fixes.

Hello, same problem here and it last since quite some time … it’s very painful to use Brevo, I come from Mailchimp and think know about returning to this tool which just works fine !
Anything is going to happen in order to solve the problem ?
It has nothing to do with browser, internet, or plugins … tested all sorts of configurations and still very slow.

I am considering the Brevo service for my client, have registered a free account for now, I am trying to create a template in the visual editor.

It is dramatically slow! If this is not solved, I will have to look at other services…

Each click of the button - a long wait for a response.

This problem only with the tab in which the visual editor is open

I wish I had found this thread before investing time in Brevo.

The template wysiwyg editor is terribly slow, it bogs down the more you use it.
In particular, editing/creating links is awful.

I figured it was just temporary and would clear up, but I see it has been this way for 5 or 6 months

Terrible on both browsers below.

Since a couple of weeks, we are also experiencing this issue. The brevo editor is very slow. Sometimes over 10 sec after a click before anything happens.

Has there been any root cause defined or workarounds?
