How to trigger automations using 'Anniversary' Function

I am trying to use the anniversary function to notify myself, preferably via email, that a phone call with a client is due. I am manually inputting a DATE attribute for when I want to call them, then trying to use that attribute with the anniversary trigger.

I have tried to use ‘Notify by email’ and ‘Create Task’ Actions, both as a way to get a notification to my email inbox.

Contacts seem to enter the automation and exit but no notification is sent or task sent.

To trigger I have created an attribute called ‘CALL_BACK_DATE’ and it is a DATE field.

In ‘Notify by Email’, in the ‘What event data to display?’ it says there is no event data to show, is that right.

I’m new to all this, please help!
