Automation with set dates

I find myself that I want to start certain automation flows on given dates, (or stop certain flows on a given date).

E.g. A New Years Eve themed cart reminder campaign that needs to stop on Jan 1st, or a father’s day, etc…

Or multuple reminders of « you have left your cart, countdown till day X » with multiple reminder emails.

However I don’t see a clear path of automating this since entry points DON’T depend on date (or cron jobs like expressions, like « every monday »), and IF conditions don’t support dates either.

What is a good way to achieve this in Brevo?

Indeed, there were a few requests regarding how to find a way to manage specific dates in automation, for example this one, in French: Planification envoie email a une date précise

@Florent will confirm, but this is something we have identified, that we know we can improve, and that we’re working on: it’s not possible for the moment, but it will be, as soon as we have found the proper solution to manage it and the multiple use cases related to this topic.

Thank you! Looking forward to it as several configuration around dates can come very handy. In a way it could be some kind of generalization of the « birthday ».

It would be nice also specifying things such as « your birthday - 10days » (but not just about the birthday, we might have other dates). Triggering only after a date (like the birthday), it might not be relevant anymore (how many people buy a gift after the birthday, and not before?)

Is it something that could be considered for 2024?

I would be very interested in this feature as well.

Our use case would be.

  • Sending customers around holiday’s a reminder if they need our holiday-related services.

Currently we create newsletters, however these take a lot of time to create and contain the same information. It would be great if we could setup a workflow in the beginning of the year, include all the holidays and have 1 email template with a content visibility filter also based on date. Subject line would be great too, however we could probably get aways with a general subject too.
