I’m a new user. I have a list of 500 clients. I don’t want to send to all 500 at once. I’d like to break it up into smaller send segments. I don’t want to have to create a bunch of new lists. Is there a way of adding a tag or segment number which can be used to split the list up. For instance, I want to be able to send 50 emails for segment 1, then 50 emails for segment 2 etc until all 500 have been sent. Not sure of the best way to do this?
Hi Tobilius, thanks for your message! Our Sending in batches is only available on the Professional and Enterprise plans. Alternatively (this is a very manual process) you could create a contact attribute such as “batch number”. It would be easier to export your whole list, split the list into the batches in a spreadsheet file by adding the batch number to the corresponding column and import the file to update the batches. Then you can create a segment for each batch (according to the value used) to select when sending campaigns.
