Campagin bloked

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my misadventure, which dates back to last Wednesday.

Out of the blue, a client called me and said that their Brevo account had been blocked.
I logged in and saw that a campaign appeared to be blocked. Only a few days later did I realize that it had actually been sent out entirely.

From that moment, I began a journey down the rabbit hole.

First, while logged into the restricted area, when I clicked on the support link provided on the page explaining the reason for the block, I was redirected to the login page, which then immediately redirected me back to the dashboard. This forced me to use the contact form as an unlogged user to reach out to support.

In the meantime, I started following the suggested actions: I enabled double OPT-in registration, added a reCAPTCHA, and deleted the recipient list flagged in one of the block explanation pages.

Once these actions were completed, I reported back for a review. But from that point on, nothing worked. I discovered that the deletion process only allows you to remove 100 addresses at a time, because the maximum number of rows set by the developer is, indeed, 100… and I have 23,000 addresses to delete.

I tried to make the support agent understand that there must be another way, that I was probably missing something. I pointed out that I have been working in this field for 25 years, and I do not consider myself someone who struggles to navigate a restricted area.

Nothing. No understanding from the other side. As of today, I still haven’t managed to reactivate the account, and more importantly, I haven’t even been able to export my client’s distribution lists—except for 100 rows at a time.

Am I the only one in this situation, or have others also fallen into this space-time portal and ended up in a parallel universe where everything is upside down?

Sorry for the rant, but I really can’t understand how things like this can still happen in 2025… I thought I had seen it all, but there’s no end to worse… unfortunately.

I hope to finally get that long-awaited phone call that will at least allow me to export the addresses without copying them one by one from the archive.

Have a good day, everyone—including the Brevo help desk.
