I got carded 2 nights ago and have over 1200 emails in the queue telling me the order failed. Can I delete them in the queue to save waiting for days for them to be delivered? I am on the free plan so only so many a day.
Hi @David2 ,
If you’re on the free plan, as soon as you’ll hit the 300 sendings daily limit, campaign will be automatically paused, even for the days that will come.
So no need to delete it I think, you just have to not resume the sending the following day, right?
Yes I am on the free plan and while I deleted the emails on my end so they wouldn’t be there to send I didn’t know how many were held in queue as I kept getting some for days afterwards, and getting the sending limit errors as well. I am now getting new emails, that I want, and no more failed order emails so all seems well. I am not sure how many emails are held in queue but certainly not all 1200.
The solution doesn’t actually tell you how to delete emails from the Queue.
I had a problem which resulted in a large number of transactional emails. When I exceeded the quota, it started queuing them. As a result, new transactional emails can’t go out until the old ones clear. How can I delete the problem emails so that new transactional emails can start going out again?
I’m also having this problem with the transactional email queue. Our site came under attack from spammers who had figured out how to automate fake customer sign-ups to have us send their spam message to their own mailing list. Luckily we were able to put a stop to it at the CDN, but after exceeding quota these mails are stuck in the Bravo queue and resume sending each day. I would like to purge the queue so that a) Our sending reputation is not damaged more that it already has been. b) We can resume sending regular transactional mails.
Ironically because we were still on the free plan, the immediate damage was not that high, with only 300 malicious emails sent from our domain before we caught the problem. Had we been on a paid-plan the damage to our domain reputation could have been much much worse.
The “solution” was to close it, I do know it was not what I would call a solution.
I went through and deleted over 3000 emails manually, 20 at a time. There will still be a few days in the queue so the damage to your reputation will continue for a few more days. This happened to my twice before I installed CAptcha sp?, but I now see Cloudflare is more popular.
Thanks. I’m in the same situation right now. It’s up to day 3 already. Do you remember which place in the Brevo login you could see the queue and delete them 20 at a time? I cannot find it for the life of me!
I did it by logging into my website and it is under WP Mail Logging, email log.
Many thanks. Unfortunately not an option for me, but thanks for the pointer.
