Understanding campaign statistics - open rate

Hi there,

I’m currently looking into the stats of my last campaign and it shows some helpful numbers, but I’m still missing some pieces of information here.

One of the most relevant numbers for us is the number of opens/open rate, and a more detailed record of who exactly opened the campaign and who did not (to target for a follow-up). But the number of opens given in the report is only an estimated number, since apparently some people use a mail privacy protection blocker by Apple and then only a part of the opens (who did not install this blocker) are trackable. Now my question is, do you know a number or ratio of how many people in general enable this apple blocker?
And is there a way to see who opened the email, who did not, and who is using this apple blocker?

That would be really helpful, since working with a solely estimated open rate is too inaccurate for us.

Thanks,
Eva from BPI

Hi @BPI ,

Thanks for posting on this community.

absolutely!

And is there a way to see who opened the email, who did not, and who is using this apple blocker?

You can’t see who is using this Apple blocker, but you can see who opened or not the email. For this, create a segment:

  • go on this page: Brevo
  • click on « Add filter » and choose « Email opened »

then you’ll be able to choose which email opening you want to target.

Hope this helps!
