Hello,
seems that Brevo removed the “Estimated Open rate“. Unfortunately we used this metric during the last year. Does anybody knows the math behind the “Estimated Open rate“, so maybe we could try to reproduce this metric for the future?
Thanks and regards
Hello,
If I’m not mistaken, the open rate estimate corresponded to the rate of people who didn’t have Apple Mail Privacy Protection activated on their mailbox who had opened the mail.
In other words, Brevo considered that the proportion of people who opened the mail should be similar between those who had this protection activated and those who didn’t.
If you want to find this metric, you need to calculate the percentage of people who have opened the e-mail over the number of people who have actually received it (people with Apple Mail Privacy Protection don’t return a “Received” event, but only a “Load by proxy” event, obviously).
These elements should be taken with a grain of salt, but that’s my understanding.
